DeAndre Baker is the best corner coming out the 2019 Draft. He is physical at the line of scrimmage. He plays bigger than he is listed. He is listed at 5’11 but plays like he is 6’1. He also has what I like to call sound “get back speed” if he gets beat he is right there to make the tackle. DeAndre is better in Man to Man than he is in Zone Coverage in my opinion but that is up to his coaches to coach him the right way so he can be great in both coverage systems. How physical he can play? I think you can match him up with the big Wide Receivers in the NFL. He also has tip-top foot work which helps him recover from getting beat and he has enough speed to stay with the speedy WR.
