Ed Oliver – DT/DE/Houston

Measurable’s: Height/6-3 Weight/290

Projected 40 Time: 4.70

Projected NFL Draft: Top 15

Ed Oliver only issue is the media and the hype they gave him going into this year. I think that is hurting his stock because his stats don’t scream at you but I feel that is unfair because if you watch his tape you’ll see that his play screams at you. He is always taking double teams and sometimes triple teams but if he was on a team like Alabama you would see over the top type of stats. The offenses that prepare for Houston is thinking about scheming on one player and that is Ed. I feel he is going to be a phenomenal player when he get into the league. Everything reads multiple Pro Bowls. He is a player that a lowly defense can build around. You can put him anywhere on the line including Nose Tackle if you wanted too and I feel he is fast enough to stand up and come off the edge as a linebacker. He is very good at collapsing the pocket and stopping the run. He plays angry and can tackle very well. He is taking down what ever ball carrier comes his way.
